Pulaski County recently conducted a community survey as part of the comprehensive plan update process. This was a broad public engagement effort to identify community priorities and desires which is essential for developing various elements of the Comprehensive Plan and to guide the County’s future. The survey was available online and at multiple locations from February though April. There were 737 online responses online and 131 paper submissions. The survey was targeted to residents, business owners, students and visitors. The county and the Regional Commission are thankful for all who participated. The survey responses are now being analyzed and prepared as meaningful maps, charts and tables so key issues and priorities can be identified, which will guide the development of policies and strategies in the Comprehensive Plan.
